OVO-TECH is a manufacturer of specialized egg processing equipment based out of Poland, European Union. The company was started in 2003 by Piotr Drapejkowski, who designed the first centrifugal egg cracker and is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The beginnings
The company started back in 2003 in Starachowice, Poland, as a small local business aimed to create machines for commercial egg cracking. First machine was the centrifuge model UDTJ-200 with the capacity of 10,000 eggs/hour and was personally designed, welded and put together by Piotr Drapejkowski. As a new inventor, he then decided to present the machine at Polagra TECH Poznan international trade fair in Poznan, Poland, where it was noticed which allowed for first sales. From then, the company has participated in multiple trade shows and fairs around the world, gaining global recognition.
Present day & portfolio
In the present day, the company offers a wide variety of machines designed for commercial egg processing. Their product are:

- vacuum egg lifters & other accessories[6]
The company also offers custom solutions in the form of egg processing lines which allow for connecting egg washers, egg disinfectors, egg breakers and egg filters into an entire egg processing line where eggs are automatically fed from one machine to another. In 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company started manufacturing UV-C ultraviolet disinfection lamps in cooperation with its child brand, OVOMEDICA.[7] Their disinfection lamps have been recognized by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.[8]
Trade shows and fairs
The company attends multiple trade fairs around the world, including shows like International Baking Industry Exhibition[9] in Las Vegas, International Production & Processing Expo[10] in Atlanta, IBA[11] in Germany and Gulfood Manufacturing[12] held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
