Now Entertainment is a Georgia-based media company and an independent record label that specializes in music recording,[1] distribution,[2] video,[3] photography,[4] SMM,[5] web design,[6] and public relations services.[7] The platform aims to promote, encourage, and market local artists to better showcase their talent.[8] NOW not only promotes indie music but also supports philanthropic activities through its magazine, blog, and app.[9][10][11]

History

Now Entertainment was founded in 2011 by Tony M. Fountain, its Chief Executive Officer[12][13] and co-founder Max Trenton.[14] The two friends collectively drew and designed concepts for starting their own multi-media company during an art class when they were just 12 years old.[15] The idea behind Now Entertainment was to create movies, music and video games, which has now blossomed into a full-service media company.[16] The NOW in the company name stands for "Never off Work." After building a recording and film studio, Tony was joined by Christian Vind,[17] a hip-hop entrepreneur, to lead the company division, now no longer part of the team.[18]

Now Entertainment is one of the fastest growing entertainment blogs in North America and also has an app, blog, and magazine of its own.[19] Tony initially launched NOW as an outlet for only local recording artists to utilize. He later realized that there were hundreds of songs being made, but they lacked promotion and marketing. This was when he embarked on his journey to tighten those loose ends and help the local community succeed.[20]

Services

Now Entertainment is an independent record label and a media company that provides a range of label services to artists, including recording, distribution, video, photography, SMM, web design, and public relations.[21] The company places great emphasis on helping clients elevate their digital footprint and interviewing budding artists and entrepreneurs.

Entertainment is also used as a tool for raising social awareness for the betterment of the community.[22] The company recently played a role in a fundraising campaign for the American Foundation for "Suicide Prevention." NOW also launched a website to campaign against corruption and abuses of power in the law-enforcement system.[23][24]

Altruism is another crucial component of NOW Entertainment that involves activities like raising money for cancer societies.[25] The platform is not just about indie music but is also actively supporting the LGBTQ community through its initiatives.[26][27][28]
