Nic McLaughlin (born May 23, 1989) is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is best known for his podcast, “Welcome To The Goodlife”, where he voices authenticity, vulnerability, and openness by inviting those struggling with stress, depression, and anxiety to share their stories.[1][2] Celebrities are also known to come onto the show to open up and share their experiences on the matter as a way to speak up where many feel voiceless.[3] Some of these celebrities include Duff Goldman, (Ace Of Cakes), Forbes Listed Leader Garrain Jones, and Manager of Faze Clan Troy Carter Jr.

Nic is also best known for his current business “The Realtor Rocket”, where he incorporates his passion for helping others to support realtors with a follow-up system that gives them leads, and a rare connection between person to person.[4]

Nic is currently working on his business and podcast, along with an upcoming book that explains his F.O.R.M. formula for overcoming anxiety.

Biography

Nic McLaughlin was born in Los Angeles in 1989. When Nic was five, his parents divorced, leading to a massive amount of stress for Nic to hold on his shoulders. The stress lead to depression, being bullied, failing in school, social anxiety, and Tourettes all within just a few years. At 6 years old, Nic began training in Kempo to distract himself from the depression.

Just a few years later, Nic decided to create an opportunity to make a difference by comforting others struggling with depression and anxiety. Nic found that the more he decided to give to others, the quicker his depression began to subside. Like clockwork, the people he’d connected with would change their lives for the better drastically through motivation and thankful actions towards their newfound career goals. Over the next 18 years, Nic continued to comfort people in need.

Nic achieved his black belt in Taekwondo at the age of 12, during the most depressing stage of his life. In 2009 he’d earned his brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu and over time, had gained experience in parkour and Krav Maga.

Nic started acting and even singing in a variety of genres of music while being best known for his R&B duo single, “In Your City”, by “2Nite” with fellow music artist, “StaJe”. Nic’s acting career lead him to win 3 awards at the International Modeling and Talent Association competition, otherwise known as, “IMTA”, along with hosting for a Toyota and Thrillist collaboration, advertising the Toyota 86 release.

In 2012 Nic had achieved his Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design. After working in branding, Nic began immersing himself in entrepreneurism through freelancing as a videographer, photographer, branding consultant, and social media marketer.

Nic continued his philanthropy journey by volunteering for Henry Mayo Hospital Events from 2014-2017, creating a fashion show fundraiser for women overcoming domestic abuse in 2018, and a fundraiser for children suffering from depression and traumatic experiences in 2019.

Nic left the entertainment industry to fully immerse himself in philanthropy and entrepreneurialism. Nic worked tirelessly to find his voice and style and started experimenting with creating motivational videos alongside fire breathers and colored smoke artists, “The Skeleton Of Color”, as a motivational colored smoke artist on YouTube to inspire millennials. Nic had created videos to inspire those with depression and had even worked closely with the heads of the social media platform, “Firework” to bring importance to breast cancer awareness in 2018.

In 2020 Nic had achieved his NLP certificate as a way to strengthen his knowledge in order to support those in need of a listening ear. He’d also created his real estate marketing company, The Realtor Rocket, leading to a fast success for himself and his clients.
