Nexus Surgical is a Urology and General Surgery Clinic operating since 2010 in and around Singapore by a group of medical specialists.[1] The practice specializes in diagnosing and treating complex surgical issues with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery and advanced surgical treatments.[2] As of 2022, Nexus Surgical is situated within four hospitals in Singapore.[3]

Background

Nexus Surgical was founded in 2010 by a group of physicians, opening its first clinic at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.[4] Within two years, the group opened two more clinics at Parkway East Medical Center and Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Center. In 2014, Nexus Surgical’s fourth clinic was inaugurated at Mount Alvernia Medical Center.[5]

Initially, the Nexus Surgical Team consisted of Dr. Jane Tan Jye Yng, Dr. Lee Chee Wei, Dr. Lim Khong Hee, and Dr. Ho Choon Kiat, but in 2019 Dr. Tan Yia Swam joined the Nexus Surgical Team, followed by Dr. Lee Yee Mun in 2021.[6]

In order to facilitate the advancement of other doctors, particularly General Practitioners, Nexus Surgical also hosts Webinars on its NexusGP platform.[7] Nexus GP is a space for fellow specialists to communicate the most recent advancements in their domains that are relevant to GP Partners.[8]
