Fabrica

The trio of director Naubertas Jasinskas, composer Gintaras Sodeika and visual artist Tadas Černiauskas, whose debut together with this installation took place in 2020 Vilnius International Theater Festival SIRENOS. It is a work that consists of a whole of video, space, objects and music. The "video part" of the installation consists of two screens ("video walls") - one screen shows the actors wearing Motion capture costumes and moving in space, the other screen shows the post-produced animation created by motion capture technology. These images synchronize the real and virtual worlds, creating the illusion of a repetitive ritual. The image on the screens is complemented by Sodeika's exclusive music track and an installation created by Černiauskas.

Invited to look at games like real-life events and life as one of the stages of a never-ending game, “fabrica” explores these issues through theatrical experiences. This theatrical installation is a kind of endless game, in which the audience is given the opportunity to enter and exit at any moment of the story, thus allowing the whole story to be put together in person.
