Nana Ama Poku is a Ghanaian Banking Executive.[1] She is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export-Import (EXIM) Bank.[2][3]

Education

Nana Ama Poku holds a BA in Social science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and an MA in Marketing communications from the University of Westminster Business School, United Kingdom.[4]

She also holds an Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Ghana, Legon.[5]

Career

Nana Ama Poku is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export Import (EXIM) Bank in charge of Business.[6]

She was a member of the team that set up the Ghana EXIM Bank following the merger of the Export Development Agricultural Industrial Fund (EDAIF), Export Finance Ltd and Eximguaranty Company Ltd into the EXIM Bank. the Ghana EXIM Bank.[7][8][9] She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana, Ghana (MCIMG).

Awards

  • Conferred with the Global Leadership Excellence Award and inducted into the Global Women Leaders Hall of Fame by the Centre for Economic and Leadership Development (CELD) in Dubai, U.A.E - December 2019.[10][11]
  • Conferred with the Ghana Women of Excellence Award (Enterprise Finance) in March 2020 - organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Gender and Social Development (Ghana).[12]
