Nabhit Kapur (born October 26, 1987) is an Indian psychologist who is also known as a Psychopreneur and TEDx speaker.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

He was born in a Punjabi Family, New Delhi. He has earned a bachelor's degree in applied psychology from Amity University and master's degree in counselling and psychotherapy from Institute for Behavioral & Management Sciences. He discovered his interest in psychology during his schooling itself.[4]

Professional career

In early career days, Nabhit Kapur started teaching psychology at a school in Delhi. He started working with other schools, hospitals, and NGOs to gain expertise in psychology. He established the ‘Peaceful Mind Foundation (PMF)’ a New Delhi based organization. The organization is working to educate people and resolve various stigmas surrounding psychology and mental health.[5][6]

Nabhit Kapur initiated the "Free stress management center" on world mental health day in October 2019, a collaboration of PMF and Municipal Corporation of Delhi which caters to employees well-being and work life balance.[7]

As a psychologist he shares input on various psychological issues, mental health reforms, impact of Covid 19 on emotional well-being and taboos around mental health.[8][9] He also initiated Peacefulmind Mentors in 2020, which hosted various important guests like Prof Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, Dr Rosalía Arteaga etc.[10][11]
