Muri is a small village of 617 hectares in Pindwara Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Muri depends on PINDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 11.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Muri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Muri's pin code is 307022[4], and village code is 02358200. The area of Muri is segregated as 33 hectares irrigated area, 165 hectares unirrigated, the 94.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 324 hectare area not available for cultivation.
