Mungthala is a small village of 1531 hectares in Abu Road Tehsil in Sirohi district, known as Rajasthani hill station of Mount Abu in Aravalli range in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mungthala depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 142.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mungthala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mungthala's pin code is 307026[4], and village code is 02369900. The area of Mungthala is segregated as 352 hectares irrigated area, 157 hectares unirrigated, the 260 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 731 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mungthala is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1431 and has total administration over 2768 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ABU ROAD and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
