Khalil Umar Abubakar (Born October 21th, 1995) known professionally as Mr Young K, is a Nigeria Singer and Songwriter, he is also known as “Man Naughty baba” .
Biography
Khalil Umar Abubakar was born on October 27th, 1995 in Kebbi State, Nigeria. He was born to an engineer father Alhaji Umar Abubakar, His parents have 7 children and he was the 3rd born in the house.
Education
He started his education at Brilliance Primary School & he is currently studying Bsc. Computer Science in Usmanu Danfodiyo University|Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, as of the year 2021[1]
Career
Khalil Umar Abubakar started music when he was at the age of 18 years, he was inspired by music artist like Tupac Shakur, Fela Kuti, Wizkid, Eedris Abdulkareem, Rick Ross, 50 Cent and the Legend Michael Jackson
Mr Young K is currently signed under the record label Playbwoy Entertainment, own by CP serjent.
He rose to fame after releasing the hit song titled Up and Down which made him got the attention of many people and he featured some big artists in the industry like Classiq, Morell Akillah and others.[2][3]
Mr Young K recently signs a multimillion deal with Ali Jita Records Under the watch of Playbwoy Entertainment[4]
In December 2020 Mr Young K realeased his First E.P album titled “Feeling Good”[5] in collaboration with Jita Records.
His goal in music is to entertain the listeners, where he stated in his song “There is chemistry in his music, and that he is born for music”
