Moola is a Canadian-based digital smart wallet and egift card marketplace developed in Vancouver, Canada.

History

Moola (app) was founded in 2016 after the Jean-Francois Eap, CEO of Vancouver-based tech company SKY GLOBAL, travelled to South-East Asia on vacation. He noticed that people would pay for goods and services using gift cards rather than cash. He investigated further and found that it was uncommon to give a gift card as a gift, as is generally the case in the West. On his return to Vancouver, Eap commenced the development of the wallet which launched in 2018 and is available for download at Google Play Store & Apple's App Store. Moola (app) is currently only available for Canadian residents.
