Armani Smith (born 5 October 1993), popularly known by his stage name Mondoe2xx, is an American entrepreneur and musician.[1] He is the founder of Birdz Eye View Productions, a film/music production house based in LA. He is best known for his collaborative work with Quality Control artist Duke Deuce on track “Wait.” He has released three songs till now—”On The Rocks,” “Diamond in the Rough,” and “Why.”[2]

Mondoe2xx, having dealt with depression, is committed to helping people like himself manage it by leveraging the healing power of music. He has gained recognition for his raw and original music that connects with the listeners on a personal level.[3]

Early life and education

Mondoe2xx was born on 5 October 1993 in Washington, DC. Soon the family moved to North Carolina and later when he was 14 to Gaffney, South Carolina, where he lived most of his teenage and adult life.

Later Mondoe2xx studied music and production at the New York Film Academy and Musicians Institute.


Mondoe2xx started exploring his musical talents when he was 18 years old, but it was not until 2020 that he started his production company, Birdz Eye View Productions. In the same year, he moved to LA in order to pursue a career in the music industry. Soon he began shooting music videos while studying filmmaking and producing at The New York Film Academy.

In 2021, after Mondoe2xx’s best friend, Isaac Lattimore, was shot dead, he decided to pursue a career in music. Later that year, Mondoe2xx launched a podcast called The Smokers Lab with his friend EMOEDAGREAT. Soon he also established a clothing brand named Activated Clothing Brand.

Later in 2021, Mondoe2xx released his debut single titled “Why” and his second single “Diamond in the Rough” in January 2022. By the end of this year, Mondoe2xx will also further explore his screenwriting talents and release a short film series titled Ace via his production company.

Since he began his music career, Mondoe2xx has collaborated with several independent artists. He also has a feature with Quality Control artist Duke Deuce on the song Wait and a short film titled Eat or Starve, released in 2020. Apart from his music career, Mondoe2xx has also served in the army for two years.[4]

Personal life

Mondoe2xx’s older brother passed away at the age of 14 when he got into a terrible car accident. Later in 2019, he lost his mother, and a year later, his best friend was shot.

Mondoe2xx is married to Sierra Smith, and they have a son together named Armani Smith Jr.
