Minsoo Sohn (Korean: 손민순; born 1977) is a pianist from South Korea. He began his piano studies at the age of three. "Minsoo Sohn has performed in recital halls, at festivals, and with orchestra across North America and Europe."[1]

Minsoo won the Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary, including a cash prize of C$35,000.[2]

On November 7, 2022, the New England Conservatory of Music announced that it has hired Minsoo. He was himself an alumnus of the conservatory, having earned his undergraduate degree in 1999, his graduate diploma in 2001, and his artist diploma in 2004.[3]

He is credited with being the instructor[4] of world-renowned piano prodigy Yunchan Lim, who was the youngest performer ever to win the Van Cliburn Piano Competition at the age of 18.[5][6][7]
