Miku Kanemura is a Japanese idol singer, model and actress who is a member of the Japanese idol girl group Hinatazaka46.[2] She is an exclusive model for the female fashion magazine Bis (magazine)| Bis.[3]
Career
Music
On August 13, 2017, Kanemura passed the auditions for new members of Keyakizaka46's subgroup Hiragana Keyakizaka46, became one of the 2nd generation members in the group.[4] On February 11, 2019, Hiragana Keyakizaka46 became an independent group and was renamed Hinatazaka46, Kanemura is still a 2nd generation member of the new group.
Modeling
On October 1, 2020, Kanemura became an exclusive model for the Japanese fashion magazine Bis.[3]
Other ventures
Kanemura is known among fans for being a sushi enthusiast. Her first catchphrase on Keyakizaka46's official TV show Keyakitte, Kakenai? was "Hi everyone, please support this little sushi!!". This is the origin of her most famous nick name: Osushi. She also made a Sushi Field Guide about different types of sushis on her official blog website.[5]
