Mike Leon Edmonds (born 1962) is an American academic. With Robert Moore, he is the acting co-president of Colorado College, succeeding Jill Tiefenthaler.

Life and career

Edmonds was born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1962 to Hattie Mae Edmonds, and retired US Army officer Frank Edmonds Jr.

Edmonds attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, where he earned two Bachelor's degrees in Theater Arts and Speech Communication, as well as a Master's and PhD in Higher Education. He also completed a post-graduate institute at Harvard University, and is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership.

In 1991, he was hired by Colorado College to be their Dean of Students, and in 2005 also took over the role of Vice President for Student Life,[1] where he teaches business communications in the department of economics.[2]

In 2020, along with Colorado College Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration, Robert Moore, Edmonds was appointed as the interim co-president.[3]
