Michele Sainte is an American Drum and bass DJ and former Techno DJ[1][2].

Clubs and raves

Michele Sainte is a Drum and bass and old-school Techno DJ that is “widely regarded as one of the States' premiere female drumandbass DJs" according to Dieselboy[3]. She is known for mixing the "TechStep" subgenre of Drum and bass[4]. Before that, she toured throughout North America performing at clubs and raves as a Breakbeat and Techno DJ on a regular basis beginning in 1990[5]. She also performed alongside other artists including but not limited to 808 State and Meat Beat Manifesto at venues such as City Gardens in Trenton New Jersey[6].

Radio

Sainte has been licensed by the FCC since 1986[7] and has worked at WFMU and WPRB. At WPRB in Princeton New Jersey, she created and DJed on a prime time program with live beatmatching and mixing called Bassquake from 1995 until 1999. Bassquake became the United States's first drum and bass \ Jungle music program to air on a commercial FM radio station[8][9][10].
