Michael Robert Marshman (born July 27, 1994) is an American volleyball player, currently playing for Cambrai Volley in France's Ligue A.[1]
Career
NCAA
Michael began his career at Saint Francis University competing in the Eastern Intercollegiate Easter Intercollegiate Volleyball Association from 2013-2016, playing in all four years in which he attended. He was awarded All-EIVA three times during his career at Saint Francis and in his senior year was named an All-American Honorable Mention.[2][3]
Professional
In the 2016-17 season he signed his first professional contract in Finland with Raision Loimu in the Lentopallon Mestaruusliiga.[4] The following season he moved to France, signing with Plessis Robinson in the country's second division, Ligue B. He played under the colors of Plessis Robinson for two years until moving to Cambrai in the 2019-20 season, where the club was awarded the Ligue B title that promoted the team to France's Ligue A. Marshman prolonged his contract with Cambrai which will continue through 2022.[5]
