Methyl-Life® is a science-driven supplement company founded in 2011 by Jamie Hope, created to support individuals with genetic methylation and nutrient-processing challenges. Inspired by her own health journey, where targeted supplementation with bioactive, methylated nutrients helped restore her well-being, Hope built Methyl-Life® to make these specialized solutions more accessible.[1]
Methyl-Life® offers a line of highly bioavailable products, including methylated forms of folate and other targeted supplements designed to support those who have difficulty properly processing standard nutrient forms. With a strong emphasis on education and personalized support, Methyl-Life® is dedicated to helping individuals better understand their genetic health and find effective, targeted ways to improve their quality of life.[2]
History
Methyl-Life® was founded by Hope and inspired by her own health journey and methylation challenges. Hope wanted to form a company that offered the purest methylfolate available to help people with the MTHFR (Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase) gene mutation.[3]
The MTHFR gene provides instructions for making an enzyme that helps the body process and use folate. For some individuals with MTHFR gene variants, decreased enzyme activity may contribute to elevated homocysteine levels and may affect folate-dependent metabolic pathways involved in neurotransmitter synthesis. High homocysteine has been linked to increased risk of blood clots and stroke, pregnancy complications (including potential recurrent pregnancy loss), and neural tube defects in infants (if the mother has low folate levels during pregnancy).[4] Low neurotransmitter levels have also been linked to low folate levels, which may contribute to depression, MDD, IBS, and even reduced cognition.[5][6][7][8]
Hope founded Methyl-Life® to make these specialized supplements more accessible.
Products
Methyl-Life® offers a line of L-methylfolate supplements, in doses ranging from 2.5 mg to 15 mg, depending on the user’s specific needs. The company also offers a line of multivitamins, including methylated multivitamins for adults and children, non-methylated multivitamins designed for sensitive users, and NACET + NutriCloak Minerals, with formulations designed to support nutrient bioavailability.
Other products include a range of vitamin B12 supplements, magnesium supplements, probiotics, and digestive enzymes, as well as mood- and energy-support supplements.

Jamie Hope — Founder
With a BA in Education and postgraduate work in technology, Hope spent over two decades building a successful career in the high-tech industry before a personal health crisis forced her to step away. Through her own journey, she discovered that her condition was linked to genetic factors requiring specialized nutrients. After experiencing significant recovery, she was inspired to help others facing similar struggles.
Hope launched Methyl-Life® to make these life-changing nutrients more accessible. Today, she is passionate about guiding individuals through the often confusing landscape of genetics and health, empowering them to improve their well-being with effective, science-informed solutions.
Katie Stone — Qualified Naturopath
Holding a Bachelor of Naturopathic Medicine (BNatMed), Stone specializes in nutrition and dietary supplements, with a focus on helping individuals make informed, effective choices to support their overall well-being. Based in New Zealand, she also works as a freelance health writer, translating complex health information into accessible, practical guidance for a wide range of audiences. Outside of her professional work, Stone is a passionate runner who has completed numerous half marathons around the world, reflecting her commitment to living the healthy lifestyle she promotes.
Dr. Nare Simonyan — Pharmaceutical Scientist
Bringing over a decade of experience in pharmaceutical science, medical writing, and science communication, Dr. Simonyan holds a master’s degree in pharmacy from Yerevan State University and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from the Institute of Pharmacy in Armenia. Dr. Simonyan has extensive expertise in regulatory affairs and clinical trials, enabling her to translate complex scientific data into clear, evidence-based insights. In her role, she is passionate about advancing understanding of nutrition and health through science, and she remains deeply engaged with the latest research, regularly exploring emerging scientific literature and cutting-edge clinical trial outcomes.
Kari Asadorian — BSN, RN
Kari Asadorian earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from The Ohio State University and is a licensed Registered Nurse (RN). She has worked in numerous disciplines, including rehabilitation, neurology, orthopedics, psychiatry, geriatrics, and pediatrics. She also earned an MBA in Marketing (University of Washington). She is enthusiastic about wellness, empowering and educating individuals about their health, and is very interested in the mind-body connection.
