Methipura is a small village of 1377 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Methipura depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Methipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Methipura's pin code is 307514[4], and village code is 02388500. The area of Methipura is segregated as 113 hectares irrigated area, 107 hectares unirrigated, the 39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 91 hectare area not available for cultivation.
