He was born in Poti, Georgia in an ordinary Jewish family. Later his family made aliyah and moved to Israel. Meni’s family lived with nostalgia for Georgia. They did everything to inspire Meni to realize that he had two motherlands – Georgia and Israel.

Meni successfully graduated from the University of Haifa with specialization in Business Administration and actively got involved in business and philanthropy. Meni Benish is successfully leading several organizations: Benish Group Ltd (founder and CEO), “Maof Construction and Development Ltd” (president and shareholder), “Interacting Technology” (board member), “YTONG” (Vice president), “Ambassadors Club of Israel” and a management member of “Hand of the Special Child”, which supports LLP children.[4]

In 2007 Meni Benish met his partners in Georgia – Members of parliament of Georgia - Ilia Tsulaia and Iraklia Kapianidze. From this period on, Meni is a general shareholder of one of the successful Georgian developing companies “Archi” and is actively involved in charity and educational activities within the country.

With the support of Meni Benish a partnership was established between Tech Hub Academy and the University of Business and Technology BTU, as well as the Webiz Development Center, which cooperates with Israeli startups from Georgia.

On May 5, 2020, Mr. Meni Benish was appointed "President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce in Israel".[5][6] Establishment of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will help to improve the investment climate and strengthen business relationship between Israel and Georgia.
