Meergarh is a small village of 107 hectares in Abu Road Tehsil in Sirohi district, known as Rajasthani hill station of Mount Abu in Aravalli range in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Meergarh depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 23.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Meergarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Meergarh's pin code is 343029[4], and village code is 02371500. The area of Meergarh is segregated as 40 hectares irrigated area, 23 hectares unirrigated, the 28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.
