Jayden Tremayne Leenear Buckner (born July 23, 2001) known professionally as Meech!, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, model, and engineer. Buckner's music draws from a range of genres, including Hip hop, Alternative hip hop, Mumble rap, and Trap music. Buckner's first full-length project, the album Phantom: Sound You Can See,[1] was self-released in 2020.

Early life

Jayden Tremayne Leenear Buckner was born in Kokomo, Indiana. At a young age, Meech! was "drawn into music by music."[2] He grew up listening to artists such as Travis Scott, Kanye West, ASAP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and Young Thug. Most of whom had an early influence on his music style today.[3]

Meech attended Western High School in Russiaville where he later graduated. The artist is currently attending Indiana University, where he recorded his first project Phantom: Sound You Can See.[4]

When asked how his stage name came about, in his 2020 interview with Cold Heart, “Meechie” answered "One day. I just remembered one of my dawgs calling me Meech! and it just stuck with everyone around the city [Kokomo]."[2]

Buckner's first solo full-length project is an album titled Phantom: Sound You Can See.[5]

Modeling

Meech's favorite brands include Louis Vuitton, Vlone, and Supreme. Meech! considers Kanye West and A$AP Rocky inspirations for his fashion style.

Meech! modeled for WWE in 2019.[6]
