Jayden Tremayne Leenear Buckner (born July 23, 2001) known professionally as Meech!, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, model, and engineer. Buckner's music draws from a range of genres, including Hip hop, Alternative hip hop, Mumble rap, and Trap music. Buckner's first full-length project, the album Phantom: Sound You Can See, was self-released in 2020.
Jayden Tremayne Leenear Buckner was born in Kokomo, Indiana. At a young age, Meech! was "drawn into music by music." He grew up listening to artists such as Travis Scott, Kanye West, ASAP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and Young Thug. Most of whom had an early influence on his music style today.
Meech attended Western High School in Russiaville where he later graduated. The artist is currently attending Indiana University, where he recorded his first project Phantom: Sound You Can See.
When asked how his stage name came about, in his 2020 interview with Cold Heart, “Meechie” answered "One day. I just remembered one of my dawgs calling me Meech! and it just stuck with everyone around the city [Kokomo]."
