The McDonnell International Scholars Academy (Washington University in St. Louis McDonnell International Scholars Academy) is an international network of premier research universities headed by Washington University in St. Louis.[1] The primary goal of this network is to "incubate new ideas and mentor new leaders".[2][3][4][5] The academy regularly organizes retreats, special seminars and other events in which scholars, politicians, and important world leaders discuss global issues.[6][7][8][9] Academy sponsors include Boeing, Mirae Asset, Bayer CropScience, and Mallinckrodt.[10]
