Maziar Rajabi (born 22 June 1986, Divandareh, Iran) is a Kurdish Iranian entrepreneur, author, and bitumen trader.[1][2][3][4] He is a serial entrepreneur, who has co-founded a number of companies including Canadian Green Solutions and Mattiol S.A.Si. Rajabi has been named as a prolific bitumen trader by Forbes and quoted as Young business achiever by London Daily Post, Disrupt Magazine, Yahoo! and several other high-tier news media outlets.[1][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]

Rajabi was born in Divandareh, Iran, and currently resides in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He developed an interest in the business at an early age and has worked for a senior partner at Canadian Green Solutions before starting his entrepreneurial career. Rajabi has been regarded as the frontier of establishing a bitumen industry in Iraq.[4][5][7]

Early life and education

Rajabi was born on 22 June 1986 in Divandareh, Iran. He grew up in Divandarreh County, Iran. Rajabi attended the University of Applied and Sciences and completed a Bachelor's degree in computer software technology. He also completed an Associate's degree in computer software and media applications from the Computer Systems Institute in 2013.

Career

Maziar Rajabi started his career in 2010, as an IT Manager and Tech support at Canadian Green Solutions Inc. He stayed with the company for 4 years where he worked extensively and gained expertise in project management, web designing, and online development systems. Simultaneously he has worked as an IT manager for Apada and web designer for Avizheh saz co. In 2012, he joined Canadian Green Solutions as its co-founder and country manager, responsible for managing all departments and building key relationships with government and private organizations.[5][10]

In 2014, Rajabi became a senior partner at Verse Oil Service.[7] He led the company to get the accreditation from the Ministry of Natural Resources and initiated participation in the tender system in the Foreign oil companies.[7] He also serves as a business development consultant for IRAQ Line co, an oil service company. He helped the company to enhance the company's presence in the European market.[7]

In May 2018, Rajabi joined Mattioli S.A.S, a polymer trading company as its co-founder & Middle East branch manager.[1][4][11]
