Marta Pozzan is an Italian actress, model and writer.[1][2]

Early life

She graduated in Italian Literature and Philosophy at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles and she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute where she graduated from in 2013.[3]

Career

Between 2013 and 2017, Pozzan appeared in many commercials for notable brands like Samsung,[4] MeUndies,[5] Diesel (brand)[6] and she then starred in the 2018 Flower by Kenzo (brand), For A Beautiful World campaign alongside Korean actress Kim Tae-ri directed by Patrick Guedj. [7] [8] Marta has attended the Cannes Film Festival,[9] Coachella (festival)[10] and fashion week[11] and has appeared in many internationally reknown fashion and beauty publications such as Forbes,[12][13] Byrdie,[14] The Coveteur,[15] The New York Post,[16] GQ[17] Flaunt Magazine[18] and many more.[19][20][21][22]

In 2018, she made her film debut in No Way Out with Maia Mitchell.[23] She then wrote and starred in Next One in 2020,[24] a short film directed by Italian actor and director Guglielmo Poggi[25] about female abuse and survival that got selected by Academy Awards[26] HollyShorts Film Festival in 2020.[27] Alma Har'el also hand picked Next One to live on the platform Free The Work.[28] She also appeared in A Dark Foe, a physiological drama with Selma Blair.

In 2021, she appeared on the Golden Goose (company) STAR campaign[29][30] alongside Kailand Morris Tommy Dorfman, Leyna Bloom and Langley Fox. Marta is also a mental health advocate.[31] She guest wrote about panic attacks on Poosh,[32][33] Kourtney Kardashian's health and wellness platform, talked about body dysmorphia on an Instagram live for Juicy Couture[34] and hosted a TEDx talk in Modena on how social media shapes your identity.[35]

On October 21, 2022, Pozzan made her Hollywood debut in the Netflix limited series From Scratch (TV series)[36][37][38] produced by Hello Sunshine (company)[39] and Reese Witherspoon playing the role of Ginevra.[40][41]

Personal life

In 2018, Pozzan was introduced by The Weeknd to actor Timothée Chalamet[42] at the Chopard[43] party during the Cannes Film Festival[44] and was rumored to be dating him.[45][46][47]
