Mark Arena (born 28 September 1984) is an Australian cybersecurity professional and entrepreneur. He is the chairperson of drone threat intelligence firm DroneSec and is a board member and founder of cyber threat intelligence firm Intel 471.[1][2]

Early life and career

Arena was born in Perth, Western Australia. He commenced his career as a software engineer in 2005 at ERG Transit Systems. Two years later, he moved to Australian Submarine Corporation (ASC) before then joining the Australian Federal Police. In late 2010, he joined iSIGHT Partners (now a part of Mandiant/Google[3]). In May 2014, he founded the cyber threat intelligence firm Intel 471 which he was the Chief Executive Officer of from May 2014 until February 2023[4]. In June 2021, he was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year greater Philadelphia finalist[5].
