Marcela Iglesias (born 8 April), popularly known as Queen of Hollywood[1] is an Argentinian American self-made entrepreneur, entertainer, singer, and real estate investor.[2] She is the founder of Plastics of Hollywood, a Talent Management company & lifestyle brand, and EdgeCross-X, a sports fitness equipment company known for its cutting edge core training fitness system.[3]

Iglesias is a self-made millionaire who has gained fame for her transformation sessions, Marcela's Way, in which she delivers a personalized success approach that aims at guiding women throughout their journeys. She is also an active investor in the crypto industry and is the founder of a non-fungible token, CryptoBarbie.

In addition to her entrepreneurial journey, Iglesias has made headlines for her over-the-top cosmetic treatments and is the world's first person to receive a spider web abs enhancement procedure. She is a firm advocate for life in plastic and the rightful reflection of her title, Queen of Hollywood,[4][5] But Marcela is more into antiaging than plastic surgery.

Early life and education

Iglesias was born on 8 April in Argentina. When she was 20 years old, she moved to LA in hopes of making a career for herself after working for 3 years on ENERGIZER where she decided to start her entrepreneurial journey. Marcela acquired a degree in Broadcasting, specializing in radio and journalism in Argentina.

Iglesias started her career when she was 20 years old when she immigrated to the US. In 2000, For over a decade, Iglesias lived as an undocumented immigrant and did several odd jobs to make ends meet and support her family.

She began investing in real estate with the money she had saved in the past years. In 2007, Iglesias founded Beyond Tan, a mobile spray tanning venture that gained much traction. After serving for over six years with this venture, Iglesias started Plastics of Hollywood, a renowned Talent Management company and lifestyle brand. Since its foundation, Iglesias has been a firm advocate for people living a plastic life including herself, and is often seen supporting and promoting them on social media channels as well as industry events.

She began investing in real estate with the money she had saved in the past years.

In 2018, Iglesias founded EdgeCrossx with her Steve Berman, a fitness equipment company known to help people attain their fitness goals and train their bodies to become their best selves.

In 2019, Iglesias started her career in the music industry with the release of her first single titled Human Doll, which soon became a slogan song for Plastics of Hollywood.[12] A year later, Iglesias started The Human Dolls, a digital series that follows her managerial journey across a modified roster of clients. In 2021, Iglesias entered the crypto industry and founded her non-fungible token, CyptoBarbie.

Personal life

Iglesias is married and has a son from a previous marriage, Rodrigo Iglesias, and two stepchildren, Ryan Cody and Kyle Berman. She is also an animal activist and mother to three potbelly pigs named Chuy, Bella, and Stella, and two dogs named Pugsy and Lucy.

Iglesias is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.
