Manuel Eduardo Hernandez Reyes (born November 27, 1996) is a Mexicans professional gridiron football defensive back and linebacker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Aztecas UDLAP and it is also part of the Artilleros Puebla of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA), a professional spring football league in Mexico.
College career
Born in Ciudad de México, Mexico, Hernandez played college football for Aztecas UDLAP from 2014 to 2018, winning two CONADEIP Championships with the team (2014 and 2016)and one National Championship (2016).[1]
Professional career
Hernandez joined the Artilleros Puebla of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional of Mexico for the 2019 LFA season after two seasons with the team he was trading to the Raptors Naucalpan of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional of Mexico.[2]
In January 2019, Hernandez was picked by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League at the second round of the 2019 CFL–LFA Draft and one of the first mexican´s player´s to be a 107th Grey CupChampions .[3]
International career
In 2014, Hernandez was selected to represent his country at the 2014 IFAF U-19 World Championship, where Mexico won a bronze medal.[4]
