Malgaon is a small village of 738 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malgaon depends on SIROHI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Malgaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Malgaon's pin code is 307511[4], and village code is 02378800. The area of Malgaon is segregated as 247.7 hectares irrigated area, 130 hectares unirrigated, the 108 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 252 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
