Malawa is a small village of 481 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malawa depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 88.04% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Malawa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Malawa's pin code is 307514[4], and village code is 02379600. The area of Malawa is segregated as 148.07 hectares irrigated area, 116.07 hectares unirrigated, the 138.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 79.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.
