Mailman is a virtual email management platform founded in 2020 with headquarters in Victoria, BC, Canada.[1] Mailman was created with the aim to provide the users a platform that allows them to manage and sort their emails in an orderly fashion and helps them increase their productivity.[2][3]

History

Mailman was founded in 2020 by Andrew Wilkinson (https://twitter.com/awilkinson/) and Mohit Mamoria (https://twitter.com/mohitmamoria).[4]

The idea behind the inception of this platform was to help the users globally increase their productivity by allowing them to personalize their email inbox. Mailman is a Gmail plugin, which is also compatible with multiple email client applications including Superhuman, Apple Mail, Spark, Mailbird, and Polymail to name a few.[5]

This platform offers a vast range of features that have been highly acclaimed by numerous clients such as Dribble, Webflow, Theory, Superhuman, Stripe, Lyft, Memberstack, and others.[6][7]

Mailman offers a vast range of features some of which include:

  • Do Not Disturb Mode - This mode was designed by the creators of Mailman to allow the users to take a break from the influx of too many emails at odd hours.
  • Delivery Slots - This feature allows the users to receive emails in specific time slots in order to manage emails in an orderly fashion and increase productivity.
  • Block Unimportant Emails - This feature allows the users to block emails from unwanted senders, annoying newsletters, and other distractions.
  • The VIP List - This list ensures that the users immediately see emails from important senders domains or keywords.
