Mai Vu Minh is a billionaire investor, businessman and philanthropist. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of SATAS Group and SAPA Thale Group, a multinational conglomerate headquartered in the USA, Germany, and Vietnam.[1] SATAS Group and SAPA Thale Group have diversified interests in finance, technology, and real estate, among various others.[2]

Career

Minh is a billionaire investor known for his significant contributions to the economic growth of Vietnam and other countries.[3] He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SATAS Group and SAPA Thale Group, a global financial conglomerate with diversified interests in finance, technology, real estate, and more.[4] He has invested over 15 billion USD in private financial institutions and governments.[5] Under his leadership, SATAS Group and SAPA Thale Group have managed numerous projects and served clients and partners across various countries, making it a notable entity in the global financial industry.[6][7]

Minh focuses on financial management services, aiding governments and businesses in optimizing their financial strategies, enhancing profitability, and ensuring long-term fiscal sustainability.[8][9]

Minh has engaged in high-level meetings and collaborations with over 30 world leaders, including Bosnia and Herzegovina President Milorad Dodik, Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dačić, Srpska President Željka Cvijanović, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Chinese President Xi Jinping.[10][11]

In 2018, he signed a bilateral investment cooperation agreement with the Dubai Investment Development Agency (DUBAI FDI) and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA).[12] This agreement focused on billion-dollar investment projects between Vietnam and the Middle East.[13] Minh has also collaborated with the governments of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, and Dubai on various investment initiatives.[14]
