Lucky Lion Nunthatee[1] (born April 27, 2006)[2] professionally known as LuckyDesigns is a graphic designer, video editor, internet personality and social media influencer. At a very young age, he has gained notability for his designing skills and has collaborated with a number of musicians and YouTubers including DTG, KSI, Mubarak, MiamiTheKid, FlightReacts, Deji and several others for designing.
Born in Woodland Hills, CA[1], LuckyDesigns started graphic designing at the age of 11. He has worked very closely with YouTuber DTG for well over 4 years, helping him in establishing a better brand. LuckyDesigns has been covered by a number of publications and magazines including Vents Magazine, Leonard Magazine, theupcoming, Disrupt Magazine, and others[3][4].
Early life and education
LuckyDesigns was born as Lucky Lion Nunthatee on April 27, 2006, in Woodland Hills. He and his family migrated to the United States when he was three years old, settling in the state of Fresno. In 2016, at the age of eleven, LuckyDesigns started learning design through internet and self-taught courses[5].
Career
LuckyDesigns started his graphic design profession by chance[6]. He started watching YouTube tutorials on how to create and make designs. After learning basic Photoshop knowledge, he created a few designs and since then he has never looked back. In between 2016 and 2017, he learned how to use tools and graphic packs, which helped him to pioneer the usage of Photoshop[7].
In 2018, he got the opportunity to work with YouTuber DTG and created thumbnails for his videos[4][8][9][10][11]. DTG was very impressed with his design work and credited him for design work in the YouTube video description. LuckyDesigns received another major break, he designed a cover art for the song "No L's" for Deji and Jallow[12][13]. LuckyDesigns has become DTG’s choice for design work and again in 2019, he made a Cover Art for DTG’s single "Theresa", which charted on Norway’s iTunes in 2020[14][15].
In March 2022, his work was published in Just Do It by DTG and Tobi, often referred to as TBJZL. He designed the School Party Poster for the music video, which he shared on his Instagram account[16][17][18][19].
His design aesthetic was influenced by 1990s/2000s movie posters, periodicals, and record covers[20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28].
Personal life
LuckyDesigns mostly keeps his personal life private and rarely posts anything about his family on the social handles. He is the family's youngest member and is the brother of Katie Nunthatee and Keelain Nunthatee[29][30].
