Lisa Marie Falbo (born December 12, 1983) is an Emmy-nominated television host, executive producer, business owner, and author.[1] She is best known as the host of the show Your New Jersey and author of the book Ten Years Later.[2] Lisa Marie is the founder of Long Shot Productions and co-founder of Media First Group.[3]

Early life and education

Lisa Marie was born on December 12, 1983 to Marie and Peter Latino. She grew up in East Hanover, New Jersey with her younger brother. Lisa studied at Hanover Park High School. Following graduation in 2002, she attended Seton Hall University. She later transferred to Montclair State University, where she got her Bachelors in Broadcasting and Speech Communication in 2006.

Career

While studying at Seton Hall University, Lisa got an opportunity to host the school’s first professional sports talk radio show called "From the Stands" on WSOU FM. She also co-hosted the Men's Basketball Halftime Show from Bunny's in South Orange, which gave a kickstart to her professional journey.

In 2004, Lisa Marie started work at WFAN and transferred to Montclair State, While at Montclair State University, Lisa Marie balanced a few different media opportunities. In addition to her work at WFAN, she interned in the Sports Department with Russ Salzberg at My9, and also worked as a Production Assistant for Steve Adubato and the Caucus Educational Corporation.

In 2007 Lisa Marie started New York Giants Radio Network. In the same year she also started working full-time at Caucus Educational Corporation.

Lisa Marie began her entrepreneurial journey in 2009 with the opening of Long Shot Productions, a media production company.[4] Originally started out of her parents' guest bedroom, Lisa Marie eventually grew the company to a large studio space based in Fairfield, New Jersey.

In 2014, Lisa Marie co-launched Hip New Jersey, a lifestyle program featuring the latest trends in the Garden State. She served as Hip New Jersey's Executive Producer and Host until she stepped down from the brand in 2020.

In December 2021, Lisa Marie and Gerald D'Ambra formed Media First Group, which produces television and digital content for various platforms, including MeTV-WJLP, News 12+, On New Jersey and On Staten Island.

In 2022, Lisa Marie started hosting Your New Jersey, which airs Saturdays at 6 AM and Sundays at 8 AM on MeTV-WJLP.

Other Work

Lisa Marie has appeared on a wide variety of local television, network cable, and radio shows, including TLC's Cake Boss, SNY's Oh Yeah, and WFAN Sports Radio's Boomer and Carton Show. She also served as an adjunct broadcasting professor at Seton Hall University in 2012.

Awards

Lisa Marie has been nominated three times for the New York Emmy Awards in 2021 and 2022. In 2017, her book ‘Ten Years Later’ won the ‘Best Fiction’ award at the Independent Authors Book Expo.

Personal life

In 2016, Lisa Marie started dating Joseph Falbo, a certified financial planner and president of Falbo Wealth Management. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Port Liberte, Jersey, where they spent three years together.

In 2019, Lisa Marie married Joseph in an intimate sunset beach ceremony in Anguilla. In 2020, the couple moved back to her hometown of East Hanover. On March 4, 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Liana Lucille Falbo.
