Biography

Early life

Born to Samuel and Nkechi Onwubiko, he along with his seven other siblings of which one is late[2] are natives of Bende local government in Abia state Nigeria[3]. He and his siblings were born and brought up in Makurdi-Benue state. At the tender age of 8 years, he discovered his musical talent and his love for Hip Hop through the songs of popular rappers such as Tupac, Eminem, 50 cent, and a variety of other local and international rappers he was exposed to. As he grew up, he progressively went on developing himself and writing his own lyrics. He eventually came across the music of Christian rappers such as Lecrae and others such as the Ambassador, Andy Mineo, Da TRUTH, Tedashi, and many others. This helped him properly fashion out his own kind of musical tune and a decision that brought him to becoming an Afro gospel[4], Afrobeat and Hip-hop gospel singer, songwriter, recording and performing artist, where he has found the spirit of God which he says bring love, faith, and hope. He studied Biochemistry at the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Nigeria during which he joined the Day Star Church[5] where his faith continually grew steadily as he uses his gospel musical career, message, and lifestyle to embark on a mission to discover and preach the gospel of Christ to the world through his lyrics.

Musical career

He started his career officially as an independent and unsigned music recording artist and started with his first song titled "Memories" which he dedicated to his classmates which were after graduating from high school. His first song was absolutely enjoyed by everyone who listened to it. This gave him much more motivation as he went on to record other amazing songs like Grace, Unconditional, Wrong Ways, For the King which features an American rapper Los of (HGA), and So on[6]. He has likewise made some amazing collaborations with gospel artists such as Ada Ehi[7], Travis Greene, Da Truth as well as many others with freestyle sessions to his credits. He explicitly fuses his Christian faith into his music and he has a different and versatile style of producing a wonderful work of musical act. His Debut Album Blind was released in 2016 while his second album Before Now, was released in 2018, followed by Afrobeats Raps & Jesus released 2019[8], The Wait E.p in 2020[9] and he released his fourth studio joint album featuring Da T.R.U.T.H titled Bridges[10], on November 20, 2020, which has so far begun trending both locally and internationally.
