Leta Sobierajski (born 1988) is a New York-based artist who is a designer and creative director and is also considered a multidisciplinary graphic designer.[1]She is known for bright, patterned abstract composition within her works.

Early Life

Leta Sobierajski was born in New York City in October 1988.[2]She grew up in Jefferson, New York a year after she was born. She received her Bachelor of Graphic design from State University of New York at Purchase College in Harrison, New York in 2010[3] After that she began working at a small independent studio named HunterGatherer as a junior designer until October 2011[3]. She then became a designer at Brand New School in 2012 until 2013 when she decided to work independently. In 2014 she met Wade Jeffree on OkCupid. He is also a graphic designer and they decided to become partners[4].They later got married in 2016 and accomplished collaborative work known as Wade and Leta [4][5].

Career

Leta Sobierajski's work list of client’s include: Adobe Inc., Bloomberg Businessweek, D.S. & Durga, Google, Gucci, IBM, The New York Times, Refinery 29, Renault, Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Target Corporation, Tate Modern, and Uniqlo. She also has a large list of clients listed on her site[6]. Leta also has a mural known as "You Are Going To Be Fine" (2017) in Los Angeles, California[7]. One of her first installations, Inspired x Aldo, was created in 2015 for Aldo Group that interpreted their promotional message “Inspiration is Everywhere”[8]. Leta and Wade also feature a piece at the Tate Modern museum known as World Goes Pop! The couple's collaborative work includes a sculpture located at the Seaport District in New York City[9].
