Learnbay was founded in 2015 as a Python training institute by Krishna Kumar and Abhishek Gupta.[5] In 2019, the company was legally incorporated as Learnvista Private Limited.[6] Initially focused on Python training, Learnbay expanded its curriculum to include data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development by late 2018.[7] Later they launched DevOps and Cloud computing courses in 2022.[8][9][10]

In 2022, the company opened authorized centers in major Indian cities such as Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, and several tier 2 cities. In addition to its operations in India, Learnbay has expanded its reach to Canada and the USA, offering its courses and training programs to a global audience. Learnbay courses are spread across continents and countries like South Africa, the UK, Dubai, Singapore, Bangladesh, etc.[12][13]

Learnbay collaborates with IBM and Microsoft to offer certification for course completions, project work, and micro-skills.[14] In late 2023, Learnbay, in collaboration with Woolf University, launched a Master's Degree in Computer Science focusing on data science and AI.[15][16]

A notable feature of Learnbay's programs is ProjectLab, which allows learners to work on IBM-certified real-world projects in an industry-like environment.[17] They also offer a Project Experience Certificate from IBM.[18][19]
