Lawmatics is a SaaS platform designed for law firms to manage client intake, CRM, and marketing automation. The company was founded in 2017 by Matt Spiegel and Roey Chasman and is headquartered in San Diego, California.[1]

Lawmatics is a CRM platform that automates key tasks and centralizes client data to help law firms increase revenue. The platform’s automation engine allows law firms to streamline their intake and marketing processes, while providing the data and analytics tools needed for firm management.[2]

History

Lawmatics was founded by Matt Spiegel and Roey Chasman in 2017.

Matt Spiegel is an attorney and serial entrepreneur, having started his career as a criminal defence attorney for six years. He then founded MyCase in 2010, and it has since grown to be one of the most popular cloud-based legal practice management tools.[3]

Roey Chasman is a full-stack software developer and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in legal tech and beyond. He started working with MyCase after graduating from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in computer science.

With their extensive experience in legal tech, they saw the need to help law firms simplify their operations and improve the bottom line with a user-friendly CRM tool. Lawmatics was designed to allow lawyers to run their business like any CEO would run their business.

Since its inception, Lawmatics has worked for a vast range of law firms ranging from solo practitioners to small and midsize firms.

Funding

Lawmatics raised $2.5 M in a seed funding round in 2020.[4]

  • Client Intake: Lawmatics helps engage and retain clients by automating the administrative intake tasks that are a burden for firms. The software allows users to build custom intake forms, schedule appointments, and generate e-signature documents in an automated workflow.
  • CRM: Lawmatics helps firms centralize all client data to drive efficiency and accelerate growth. The CRM allows users to engage leads and manage client activity and communications in one easy-to-use platform.
  • Marketing Automation: Lawmatics has a full email marketing suite included within the platform. It also provides audience segmentation and date-based email marketing automation to free up time and engage more potential and past clients.
  • Reporting & Insights: Lawmatics includes a number of intuitive data and analytics tools to give firms the insights they need to effectively manage their operations. A full cusotme reporting suite allows firm owners to access and view the data in any way they need.
