History

The firm was founded in 2010 by David P. Shapiro with the aim to help people charged with a crime regain their reputation, career, and freedom. Shapiro, after being arrested for a crime he admittedly committed in 2004, decided to create a safe space for people like himself to entrust a law firm that can handle criminal defense matters without any fear of judgment or uncertainty.[7][8]

Shapiro moved to San Diego in 2006 and has since then been practicing law in the city specializing in criminal defense.[9][10] After the establishment of the Law Office of David P.
