Lavanya Nair is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam television. She was born in Velland, Trivandrum district of Kerala, India. Her father, K. Raveendran Nair, worked as an Engineer at Kerala Water Authority and her mother, Usha Nair is a house wife. She has an elder brother, Ullas Nair, who is also a TV actor.
Career
Lavanya Nair (born 17 May 1982) is an Indian Television actress and dancer who primarily appears in Malayalam TV Serials. She is one of the most successful leading actresses in Malayalam TV Serials.
She made her acting debut in Asooyapookkal (2000) at the age of 18. Her most well-known TV Serials are: Gandharvayamam (2001), Angadipattu (2003), Chandrodayam (2004), Valayam (2005), Pakal Veedu (2006), Upasana (2007), Swami Ayyappan (2007), Sreekrishna Leela (2008), Rareeram (2009), Thulabharam (2010), Avakashikal (2011), Sree Padmanabham (2011), Oru Penninte Kadha (2013), Avalude Kadha (2014), Manjurukum Kaalam (2015), Bhramanam (2018), Namam Japikkuna Veedu (2020), Kaiyethum Doorathu (2020).
Personal life
On 9 February 2014, Lavanya married Rajeev Nair. The couple have a daughter, Malavika.
