Laura Michelle Powers also known as Laura Powers is an American psychic medium, host, author, entertainer, actress, model, and coach. She has founded several podcasts such as Healing Powers and Powers Hour. Powers is best known as a celebrity psychic who has been featured by NBC, Buzzfeed, CBS, FOX, ABC, Vice, and many other media outlets. She also has worked as an actress in film, television, and theatre.[1]
She is also the author of the books which include” Diary of a Ghost Whisperer”, “Angels: How to Understand, Recognize, and Receive their Guidance” and “Angels and Manifesting.”[2]
Early life and education
Powers was born in Nancy, France. At a very early age, she moved to the United States, California where she attended Centaurus High School. She completed a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2000 and after that, she completed a Masters in Political science from the University of Colorado, Denver. Powers learned English in ESL classes as English was not her first language.[3][4]
Career
Podcast and radio
Powers has contributed to the community by hosting several podcasts and also appeared on the radio and TV. In 2011, She created the Healing Powers podcast which focuses on healing and spirituality. In the same year, Powers launched Powers Hour podcast in which she talks about empowerment, business, and lifestyle. Besides these, other podcasts of Powers include Write Hot, Behind the Music Podcast, Design By Podcast, and Behind the Scenes Podcast. Recently, She appeared on The Ron Burgundy Podcast, talking about subjects such as her past lives and ghosts. She appeared on the 4 Phase Cycle Detox Podcast and The Jet Set Season show.[5]
Actress
In Denver, she has performed in many theatres including The Bluebird Theater, The Oriental Theater, The Gothic Theater, The Oriental Theater, Clocktower Cabaret, Bar Standard, the Church Nightclub, Voodoo Comedy Playhouse, and others. She has been cast in several films that will be released in 2020 and 2021.[6]
