Kunal Trehan (born April 1983[1]) is a British businessman and TV personality. He is best known for starring in the BBC One interior design series Virtually Home[2] and founding interior design brand Touched Interiors.[3]
Mr. Trehan is also the director of mobile beauty app Artisté[4] founded in 2018 with his partner, Thomas Hope.[5]
Career
Kunal Trehan founded interior design brand Touched Interiors in 2009, specialising in high-end luxury residential design.[6].
In a post online, Kunal explains that the Touched Interiors brand was founded through a frustration of having a design vision, but the lack of materials and products available to execute his ideas.[7] In 2015, Kunal opened the first Touched Interiors furniture retails showroom in Manchester City Centre.[8]
Touched Interiors do not disclose their client list[9], but it is understood the company works with VIP clients across the UK and worldwide.[10] Kunal Trehan was named as the interior designer to English television personality and model Olivia Attwood in 2021[11] and since then the company has shared other examples of their work, including a luxury Manchester penthouse[12] which reportedly cost £300,000[13] for the owners to fit-out and appoint Kunal as the interior designer.
With his partner Thomas, Kunal founded mobile beauty app Artisté[14] founded in 2018. Artisté, formally known as Artiste Beauty Limited, is a service that allows for clients to book hair, makeup and beauty services to their home across Birmingham, Cheshire, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Staffordshire.[15][16]
Television
Kunal Trehan is part of the cast of BBC One interior design series Virtually Home[17] which first aired in November 2021[18]. Centred around virtual reality, Touched Interiors explains the series will feature Kunal "helping homeowners who are stuck in a design rut & take them on a journey using virtual reality to demonstrate how they can unlock a magnificent design within their desired spend without encountering any expensive mistakes[19]."
