Konstantin Morozov (born August 7, 1961, Kuibyshev, USSR) is a Russian historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of History at the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka). Professor and member of the Academic Council of the Free University (Moscow). Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Information and Educational Center "Memorial", coordinator of the "International Memorial" project (liquidated by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on February 28, 2022). One of the initiators and founders of the Interregional Professional Union of Higher School Employees "University Solidarity", founding member and member of the Council of the Free Historical Society.

Biography

Graduated in 1988 from the Department of History at Kuibyshev State University. From 1988 to 1992 was lecturer of history at the Volga Institute of Informatics, Radio Engineering and Communications. From 1990 to 1995 took correspondence post-graduate courses at Samara State University. 1993-1994. - Worked at the publishing department of the State Archive of the Russian Federation [Narodnichestvo i narodnicheskie partii v istorii Rossii v XX v.: biobibliograficheskij spravochnik. M., 2016. P.450-451] 1993-1995 researcher (and later Scientific Secretary) at the Institute of National Educational Problems of the Russian Ministry of Education. In December 1995 in Samara State University defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of History on the topic "The Party of Socialists-Revolutionaries in 1907-1914" (under the scientific guidance of Candidate of History, docent M. I. Leonov ). In 1995-1997, was the head of the permanent seminar at the Scientific Information and Educational Center "Memorial," dedicated to the problems of power and opposition in Russia at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. P.450-451] From 1996 to 2005, was a senior lecturer and associate professor in the Department of History at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. In February 2007 defended the thesis for the degree of doctor of historical sciences on "The Trial of Socialist Revolutionaries and Prison Struggle (1922-1926): ethics and tactics of confrontation».
