Keral is a small village of 286 hectares in Sheoganj Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Keral depends on SHEOGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 101.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Keral is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Keral's pin code is 307028[4], and village code is 02342800. The area of Keral is segregated as 131 hectares irrigated area, 14 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 136.92 hectare area not available for cultivation.
