Kalpnath Sonkar was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Basti (Lok Sabha constituency)|Basti twice, in 1980 from Indian National Congress and again in 1989 from Janata Dal.[1][2][3][4]
Early life
He was a fruit seller before joining politics.[5] He was father of Ravi Kumar Sonkar. He was General Secretary of All India Rashtriya Sanjay Manch, 1982 to 1985.[6]
