"Just a Cloud Away" is a song by American musician Pharrell Williams from the soundtrack album for the film Despicable Me 2, released on July 2, 2013.[1][2] The song was re-released as a single in March 24, 2022, eight years after the original release, after gaining significant traction on TikTok.[3][4][5][6]
Critical reception
HotNewHipHop praised the song as a "worthy addition to a respectable catalogue."[1] Elena Cavender of Mashable called the song a "rare TikTok sound that’s first and foremost a song, rather than a vehicle for a trend."[7]
