Juha Eerik Metsälä (b. 1967 Hämeenkyrö, Finland) is a Finnish Entrepreneurship and vice-chairman of European Construction Industry Federation. He is the founder and the owner of Pohjola Rakennus Oy. The company has specialized in house building.
Metsälä founded Pohjola Rakennus in 1989, while he was 22-years-old. Metsälä is currently the president of the Pohjola Rakennus Group and the chairman of the board. Pohjola Rakennus Group builds approximately 2000 homes annually. In 2019, the group had a turnover of 295 M€ and provided employement for around 3000 people, of which 200 were Pohjola employees.[1][2]
Metsälä has been actively representing the interests of the construction industry in leading positions in Finland.
[3][4] He is currently vice-president of European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC), representing the group of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. [5][6]
