Joschua Knüppe (born 6 June 1992) is a german paleoartist.[1] He works mainly on paper and digiatally, frequently publicizing his work in weekly livestreams.[2]

Knüppe has also published several books, such as #Paleostream: Sketches of Prehistoric Life and Europasaurus: Life on Jurassic Islands, co-authored by Oliver Wings. In addition to his works on paleoart, he has also created fictional ecosystems, like that of his 2014 exhibition "Silvanus".[3]

Life

Joschua Knüppe was born on 6 June 1992 in Mettingen. According to him, he started drawing dinosaurs at the age of 3.[2] Since 2010 he has studied at the Münster Academy of Art, from 2011 to 2013 he was a student of Lili Fischer, and in 2013 has been in the class of Shana Moulton.[3]
