Jonne Rautjärvi (born 07 November 1999) is finnish Auto racing[1][2] who currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. [3] Finnish newspaper Keskisuomalainen released that Rautjärvi will make his NASCAR debut in Valencia, Circuit Ricardo Tormo on 14 May with the NASCAR GP Spain.[4]

Career

Early career

Rautjärvi started Kart racing|karting when he was only 6 years old. Very soon he won his first medals in regional championships in Cadet class. After long national career in karting Finnish Championship[5], 2016 Rautjärvi moved towars racing cars and started driving in BMW Xtreme series in North European Championships[6].

V8Thunder

Rautjärvi moved to the "nascar style" (Stock car racing|stock cars) V8Thunder championships for 2020, with No. 240 Chevrolet Camaro. After successfull debut season, Rautjärvi finished third in the Finnish Championship. [7] Rautjärvi continued in the same series in 2021 aiming for winning the title.[8][9] After long season Rautjärvi finished second in the series.[10][2]

NASCAR Whelen Euro Series

Rautjärvi is aiming for international and professional racing career. He is currently driving in Nascar Euro Series for Team Bleekemolen form Netherlands|Netherlands, with No.44 Chevrolet Camaro. Rautjärvi being set to make his Euro Series debut as the EuroNASCAR PRO driver.[11][12]
