Jonathan Joyner (born October 10, 1990) is an American entrepreneur and business executive who has been the chief executive officer of Joyner since 2017. During his tenure as the chief executive, he has worked on expanding services offered by the company, internal diversity and inclusion and community partnership. Since late 2018 to 2020, Joyner doubled the company's revenue and profit margins.

Joyner also serves on the boards of directors of Yejide Inc., and President of the Lonnell Joyner Foundation. Outside of work, Joyner participates in philanthropy and community outreach. As of December 2021, Joyner's net worth is estimated to be $2.4 million.

Early life

Joyner was born in Decatur, IL, United States and spent his childhood in between Decatur, IL and Chicago, IL before being later adopted by the late Lonnell Joyner. His father, Lonnell, was a chef and community worker.

Business career

During middle school Joyner started volunteering at his local Boy’s & Girl’s Club out of Decatur, IL which later turned into an after school job and summer job, It was this role that taught him the importance of community outreach. In 2012, Joyner stated his career serving in leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, Apple, Intuit and State Farm.

Joyner has received criticism on his management style as some site micromanagement as a common complaint. Joyner regularly begins sending emails at 6:30 am, and hold mandatory 2 hour leadership meetings to prepare for the week. His leadership focuses on strategic strategies, and driving results.

Personal life

In 2015, Joyner relocated to Atlanta, GA where he would join the operations of Apple Inc. Joyner is an outdoors guy who loves nature. He enjoys basketball, hiking and the gym. He appreciates privacy and shys away from the public eye.

Joyner fell in love with serving his community from a young age. A trait he developed from his father Lonnell Joyner. Joyner spends time volunteering on political campaigns that he believes will truly make a difference, as well at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), American Red Cross, MyCommunity and the Lonnell Joyner Foundation, which focuses on providing services to those in need going through or transitioning out of the foster care system.
